i managed to acomplish a few things over the past couple of days that i was at home. i managed to watch four movies... the recruit, motercycle diaries, somethings gotta give and spanglish. i managed to make it to a couple of thrift stores and bought a few things. i then brought them home and began cutting them up to recycle to fabric to make a shirt of some sort. i also acomplished my taxes and although they are late, i am getting back a nice little amount of cash to which i am going to use for a trip up to cresent city in a few weeks. and today, i managed to fit nicely into a shirt that i didnt fit nicely into at the beginning of the semester, meaning i have lost a considerable amount of weight over the past few months. its a new color for me, sort of dark orangeish, a nice natural tone... more for the fall, i know, but that only matters if you are fashion savvy, and i am not. so basicly i can wear whatever i want. i got a cake for my birthday and i asked my parents to get me a fish tank as a gift. i went through my closet yesterday and packed away the winter clothes and threw a bunch into a big black bag to drop off at the goodwill and i cleaned my space in my room at home. i also managed to collect an insane amount of phlem in my nasal passages.

the phone rang at 12:30 a.m., two hours after the girl had went to bed and fallen asleep. flustered, the girl woke up to the sharp ringing and grabbed the phone to see who it was that would call her so late at night. "caller ID blocked" was all the information the phone would give her. quickly, to shut the phone up, the girl answered it. "hello?" she said in a groggy voice. on the other end of the line, she heard what sounded like a middle aged southern black woman explaiming "precious? precious?!?" startled, the girl hung up the phone. lying back down, she remembered the same caller ID blocked caller, calling her at 1:30am a few weeks earlier. the phone rang again, and the girl reached up and put it on silent, so she wouldnt have to hear it anymore.
the rest of the night was followed with nightmares and hardly any sleep. the caller didnt leave me a message. i have n idea who it could have been. i might have been making up the whole southern black woman accent thing as a result of watching two john grisham movies in a row, but i swear whoever was on the other end of the phone line was saying "precious? precious?!?" it was really weird... sort of freaky...

so yesterday, again, i fell in love... this time his name is don miller and he pretty much somehow amazingly captured all the thoughts that bounce between my head and heart and wrote them down on paper in a book. something i cannot do. he pretty much saw what i think about spirituality, Jesus, culture, struggels with loving people, struggles with community, hippies, adventure and even romance. i think i would like to marry donald miller, but seeing as though we both feel the same way about reclusivness and singleness, and also he is probably about ten years older than i am and also he is in love with penny and asks her to marry him about once a week, i dont think it would work out. so i'll have to forget about that and stop considering him as an option.
the book is called blue like jazz. it touched my heart in more of a way than any other book written by a christian author has. it really hit home, i dont think ive ever been able to relate to a book as i related to this one. it pretty much blew my mind. you might not feel the same way about it. but i would recomend you read it, no matter who you are.
tony got to meet donald miller. thats what laura said anyway. i might like to meet him someday too. not to marry him, but to have coffee and hear more about his adventures on the road and especially living in the woods with the hippies. i think that if i were a boy, i would be living in the woods with hippies. or just on the side of the road in my van. dont worry mom, i said if i were a boy...
also, its been officoly determined... greg truly is... el cid...

I got to write these jokes. So, I sit at the hotel at night and I think of something that's funny. Or, If the pen is too far away, I have to convince myself that what I thought of wasn't funny.
You know that Pepperidge Farm bread, that stuff is fancy. That stuff is wrapped twice. You open it, and then still ain't open. That's why I don't buy it, I don't need another step between me and toast.
This product that was on TV was available for four easy payments of $19.95. I would like a product that was available for three easy payments and one complicated payment. We can't tell you which payment it is, but one of these payments is going to hard.

im thinking of writing a couple of books. i think one of them would be sort of a guide on how to chill out. i would glady just give this book away to a few people that i know as gifts.
the other book i might want to write is a book about how much i want to spend my life loitering around places. hopefully the sales of this book will support my loitering life style and i wont ever have to work again. just loiter.
yes, im seriously thinking about writing those books...

im not sure why exactly we ended up in san adreas the other day... i guess we wanted to see the fault, but once we got there we both realized that you probably cant see a fault becuase its under the ground. but we went to san adreas anyway and turned around there to go the 2 1/2 miles back home. anyway, it was an awesome drive. and yesterday karma came back to me and hit me upside the head. what goes around comes around...
